Mrs. Wallace's Wonderful WildcatsWelcome to Second Grade!!!
Second Graders will start the year making new friends and learning about each other!! "All About Me" is our first unit. They'll be taking home guided readers, learning to add, count by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. A Spelling Word List will go home on Monday of each week and the Spelling Test will be given on Thursday. Second Grade will be "Rocking and Rolling" into this school year. Hang on, Wallace's Wonderful Wildcats are going to have a great year!!!  PATHSMs. Octavia will be coming to our classroom for a PATHS Lesson. A PATH'S KID is chosen each week. That student gets compliments and a great t-shirt to keep.
 Lunch Lunch Time is at 11:48 AM-12:18 PM. Parents are welcome to eat lunch with their child. All visitors need to sign in at the office.
 CONFERENCE PERIODTrout Primary School encourages Parent-Teacher Conferences. Mrs. Wallace's conference is 1:00-1:50 Tuesday -Friday. PLEASE CALL 936-639-3274 or send a note FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

Students will read their library book and then take a computer generated comprehension test over their Accelerated Reading Library Book. Send all library books to school with your child each day, so that he/she will have access to those books at school.
